Sorry it's been so long!
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a little while (ok, a long while!), but I've been VERY busy with so much going on! I'm really excited to announce that I'll be doing volunteer work with cats for a great organization called Furkids! I'm so psyched about helping the cats! I'll be cleaning out litter boxes (yuck), feeding, as well as playing with all of the kitties! Anyways, just wanted to give you an update, have a great weekend!

Meet Vanilla!
Vanilla is a kitten living in the Atlanta humane society. He is two months and five days old. He is very friendly with people and loves to be around them. If you live in or near Atlanta Georgia and want to adopt a new cat, then I would suggest the Atlanta Humane society. I got two of my cats there, and love them more every day! Celebrity Cat Lover #1: Pope Emeritus Benedict
Pope Emeritus Benedict (Pope from 2005-2013), has always been known for his passionate love for cats. He loved to watch the stray felines run through his neighborhood, but was sad to hear that he could not keep a cat due to the tradition which states that no pets are to live in the papal residence located in the Vatican. He did have a cat at the time, but it had to stay in his residence in Germany.
Hopes are high that now, since he has retired, he will once again be able to keep a cat in his home, but even if he does not take in a feline of his own, he will have plenty of stray cats to keep him company. It is fantastic to see people like pope emeritus who love cats so much. I hope that he inspires many to get a cat of their very own.

New Posts!
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I will now be adding a new article to my blog: Celebrity Cat lovers! I will be writing on well known/famous people who LOVE cats! For all of the new viewers!
Ever since I was small, I knew that there was something special about cats. Something so wonderful and mystifying that I never could quite figure out what it is. There's just something I love about them, how they run into the kitchen as soon as they here the food can open, purr when you stroke them, and jump onto your lap when they want to cuddle. Even though they sometimes get into trouble (OK, a lot of the time), they're still always there when I need them. When I feel angry or sad, one of the only things that seems to calm my nerves is stroking one of my kitten's soft, gentle fur. I love cats and I hope that this blog shows how wonderful they really are! Enjoy and I hope that both you and your kitties enjoy "A Cat's Eye View"!

More Advice!
Cats usually prefer wet (canned) food to dry food. Be sure not to feed it to them all the time though, give them 1/4 of a can every day as a treat, but make them eat dry food the rest of time. Dry food is better for their teeth, prevents bad breath, and also keeps the litter box from smelling too bad.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY that I haven't updated for a while. I've been really busy with music auditions, chores, and taking care of my own cats! Must reads!
On "A Cats Eye View", I will not only add in great pics/videos, I will start adding book reviews! The first must read book I'll review is "The Cat Who Came Back For Christmas." by Julia Romp. This book tells the true story of Julia Romp and her autistic son George. Julia feels as if her son George doesn't love her. He lives in his own private world. Until one day, a little black and white kitten named Baboo (Ben for short) comes along. George begins to open up and starts forming a relationship with Julia. But one day, while vacationing in Egypt, Ben runs away. George begins to close back up and Julia fears that all hope is lost. But just a few days before Christmas, Julia receives a phone call from over 50 miles away that provides a glimmer of hope.....
This story is truly touching. It's a great read for all cat lovers! I suggest that you read it. It is a wonderful inspiration and I loved it from the moment I started reading! Please enjoy!

ADVICE ADVICE ADVICE!!!!!!!!!
Hey! I just thought I'd give you a quick tip! I know that a lot of cat owners have trouble keeping their cats inside, but if you play with them for 10-15 minutes on a daily basis, it will help reduce the urge to go outside. This will also help you to bond with them, although feeding them their favorite food on a daily basis will also help with that!

What Do Cats Mean To You?
Everyone seeks something different in their cat. Some love the feeling of the tiny, warm, gentle bodies resting upon their laps. Some love the soft feeling of fur between their fingers, or the sweet and softhearted purr that the tiny creatures let slip gently from their throats. I'm not always sure what my cats mean to me. Sometimes I just love feeling their presence. It's comforting knowing that they are nearby and ready to be petted and cuddled. So here's my question, what do cats mean to you? Please let me know, I would love to hear your honest opinion. Whether you are a cat lover or not, I would REALLY love to know!

My Three Kitties!
From A Cats Eye View
Alvin: Hi! My name is Alvin and I'm a Persian mix. I'm a real home buddy, so I prefer spending time upstairs with my family rather than downstairs with George and Biscuit (who my humans like to call the sleeping twins). One of my favorite times of the day is feeding time! I usually get sweet, juicy ham or turkey because I will eat only the finest of foods! I get really excited when dinner time comes because one of my humans usually takes out my food bowl, and starts to fill it with some sort of tasty meat! It always smells so good that I can't help but meowing my heart out! Although, I can never taste the food because I gulp it down so fast, and get hungry again very soon after (but they just won't give me seconds!).
George: Hey! What's up? My name is George, and I'm a tabby mix. I enjoy sleeping on the top of the couch in front of the heater all day long (my humans think I'm starting to get lazy), but at night time, it's on! I love to wrestle with my good friend biscuit. He's much bigger than me, and can usually take me down with the swipe of a paw, but I am VERY determined and keep coming back for more. So I occasionally win. I also love dinner time, but I'm not nearly as picky as Alvin! I'll eat a friskie's salmon dinner without hesitation! Mmmm.......
Biscuit: Hi! My name is Biscuit (I'm also a tabby) and I'm the new guy! I came in about five months after George and Alvin, although I am close to their age. Me and George do just about everything together! We sleep, eat, wrestle, and every once in a while we have a nice little chat. I have to stay downstairs all day, but I almost always have George or Alvin for company so I never get lonely! I really look forward to growing up with these two and hope that I have fun at my new home!

A lot of what I write will be fiction, but I will also add advice on how to take care of your cats while keeping them happy and healthy.
